Who Started This Map Project?
This is the idea of Brian & J.J.
Brian East (Owner of Shaggy & Slicks and Lillie’s Handmade Soaps) & J.J. & Sara Mancini (Owners of the Christmas Shop building and operate Salsa Saint) came up with the idea to have a simplified map of JUST Old Town, created by merchants for merchants.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the size of the map? The map is 11 x 17. Almost as large as the discovery map, but at 11 x 17 it costs less to print and is more manageable. Folds nicely in half twice so that it fits easily in a small purse or even a pocket. We will print on both sides in high gloss so that it will hold up to a little but of water.
Who is sponsoring the map? The cost for printing, designing, managing the map is being paid for by Bryan & J.J. – Our hope is to offset the costs by the income from the yearly subscriptions.
Is there a minimum # of businesses you need in order for the map to be printed? No. We will print the map before summer. If for any reason we decide not to move forward with the map we will refund all money.
Is the map being distributed beyond Old Town? Yes. We will distribute to all businesses around Old Town and that feed into it. Hotel Albuquerque, Best Western, Chaco, Sawmill, etc.
Will it be distributed to every store in Old Town? Yes. It will be distributed to every store in Old Town.
How many copies will be printed? As many copies as you need. We plan on printing 10k maps our first print. As soon as you run out, come by Shaggy & Slicks and grab some more. Your subscription covers you for all the maps you can hand out for the entire year.
Who is Luminaria Properties? This is J.J. & Sara’s LLC. We purchased the Christmas Shop building and the house in the back in August of 2021. Luminaria properties is the company that owns that building and operates Salsa Saint. So we are property owners and business owners in old Town. We love Old Town!
